About us

Ream hillsideReam Resort and Development (RRD) is developing a premium touristic and residential destination on Ream Beach at the Cambodian south coast, covering over 173 ha. Of this, 140 ha is exclusive beachfront property and 33 ha is on the adjacent island “La Fourmi”. Sixty percent of RRD is controlled by Cambodian national Yary Meas whose husband, Alain Dupuis, is CEO of RRD. Forty percent is controlled by local Cambodian businessman Te Taing Por.

The Meas Family objectives are:

  • To place Ream Beach as a top destination on the tourism map of Cambodia.
  • Sunset beachTo provide luxury seaside villas and condominiums to Cambodians, expats and foreigners who are looking to own property at Cambodia’s beautiful coast.
  • To contribute to the creation of a Cambodian ‘Tourism Triangle’: Siem Reap/Angkor to Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville/Ream. This is expected to increase the average stay of tourists, provide a pure Cambodian holiday package, diversify Cambodian tourism locations, increase foot traffic at Sihanoukville airport, and ultimately strengthen the whole Cambodian economy.
  • To ensure that the Phase One development is a profitable operation and has a positive effect on all the other development projects in the Ream and Sihanoukville region.
  • To maintain the concession rights initially obtained for the Island “La Fourmi”.
  • To initiate the first phase (11.3 ha) of development in total compatibility with the larger Ream Beach project (up to 173 ha).
  • To establish the construction and selling processes on a smaller, yet secure, project.
  • To provide 150-200 direct jobs to Ream’s inhabitants, to graduates from the school financed by RRD and to families from the neighbouring military base.
